Help Us Choose a Book Cover (Poll)------>

The holiday season is almost here, and what better way to celebrate cold days and even colder nights than by curling up with a hot drink and a good story? Yeah, we think so too!

Some of the authors here at Cozy Mystery Magazine have decided to put together a compilation of short stories that we'll be giving away for free. Yes, FREE! But we need your help. Tell us, dear readers, which cover art appeals most to your eye, then cast your vote in the Poll (upper right corner of sidebar). Wanna leave a comment instead? Great, we'll add those votes to the final tally too!

Happy voting!

Poll closes Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 11:59 PM.

  4. Love the colors, and the theme. I prefer the long name. I think the problem you're having with the title isn't the title at all, but the white polka dot effect of the bubble background. Regardless of the word placement, those white dots on gold background make the title difficult to make out. Perhaps a screen of nearly the same gold tone dropped behind that background would make the contrast less. I do know it makes me want to grab a cup of hot chocolate and sit in my comfy chair to read what's inside. I like #1 the best overall. Keeps the title clean above and the info down below - good balance.

  9. As a whole, I love the colors and the Christmas look of the cup, etc. But for those of us with a sight problem, I find that the smaller print is a bit difficult to read in all but #1. Number 2 is not too hard to read but when the words are competing with the background (the hazy lighting effect) it makes it more difficult to read anything other than the heading. I prefer the heading in #1 as well, and if the background of the white lights could be toned down a bit, the wording, even though small, would show up in black a bit better I think.

  17. All of them are quite warm and filled with holiday spirit, but the dragons and I favor number 2. It seems the most pleasing to the eye (at least mine) and it avoids the Christmas reference that usually brings out the kooks and nuts who seem to always disparage anything to do with a religious holiday. I disagree with them strongly, but why tempt fate? Thank you for the chance to give input. Whichever one you choose will be wonderful and will grace the banner with charm and be filled with the holiday spirit! May the dragons watch over you...

  19. #2 or #4 - they make the mystery aspect clearer. I'd love to see a dagger in the picture next to the teacup. From Nancy R. on FB.
