Oh Man, I Have Nothing To Blog About!

I’m sorry, but it’s a slow time in Cindyworld right now, and you know what that means.
I have nothing to blog about.
You see Chasing Lady Midnight is off to beta readers so I have nothing to write. Well except I am working on the concept of that last line in The Great Scarecrow Invasion, “What is a Woolly Weegie?” I can give a little background on that, but not much. Because you need to buy the book.
You see The Woolly Weegie itself is actually my Dad’s spooky story, so in case you were planning on a sneaky internet search  (I know that is what I would do) you won’t find it. I sympathize as I know you all really want to know what a Woolly Weegie is, but that’s a mystery, because…well you need to buy the book. So in the name of research, and because I didn’t remember (yes I’m that old, we’ve covered this) I talked to my sisters and I found out that my Dad tended to change the story as he told it. Which means I have full liberty to tweak it.
Like I really wasn’t going to do that.
Anyway, on the eye lid surgery front. I did get eye one done, as my surgeon only does one eye at a time. Eye number two is scheduled as eye number one turned out really well. NO! I am not showing pictures! Because I looked like I had a really strange make-up job. At least I know what to expect now, but with first surgery I was a little freaked I admit. Why? Because the way my surgeon does it, you’re awake for most of the procedure.
It’s not as bad as it sounds really, but it is October, the month to really creep people out.
You know if my life were more exciting I would have something to blog about and not bore you all so much.
On the family front, I have a nephew with a 10th birthday coming up. Now how did that happen? I swear the kid was just a baby last week. Which also means I’m 10 years older than when he was born. You know what? That stinks. That’s what kids do, make you feel old. I know they’re supposed to make you feel young, but that’s propaganda. Just kidding, I love the kids in my family. But it is disconcerting to find that the people you used to be able to hold are now taller than you. Not the 10 year old, yet, but he’s working on it.
Great, not only am I so boring that I have nothing to blog about, but I’m ancient as well. Life is so unfair.
Oh and after October comes November and December which means The Holiday Season is upon us. That means buttermilk fudge again, but now the people at my day job want me to make it for them too!
Man learn how to make a complicate, but delicious candy and everyone wants it. I still do not understand how I ended up being the only one in my family who knows how to make this stuff.
Why do I suspect that my Mother is laughing her head off in heaven right now? The woman always did have a weird sense humor, must be where I got it from.
Oh well I’ll close up and just hope that next week I will have something to blog about.
Sorry I wasn’t more interesting.

A California native, she loves to "surf" the web to research plot details for her fun, quirky stories. She has a degree in Theatre Arts which greatly influenced her writing style. Working in various fields as a secretary has allowed her to both master her writing skills and acquire valuable technical knowledge which she uses liberally in her plots. Although that is where she got her idea for The Secretary, she is not an evil mastermind. Although some of her former employers might disagree. These days she contents herself with knitting while contemplating her next diabolical plot. Story plot that is.
