And Now, for the Rest of the Story - Book 11 "Museums Can Be Murder"

My Visit to the MET
As we begin the fall season, giving us more indoor time for reading, it gives me great pleasure to launch the latest book in the Jillian Bradley Mystery Series. It was such fun to visit New York in preparation to write Museums Can Be Murder, especially the Metropolitan Museum of Art. My husband and I are both art lovers, and we loved visiting the MET so much we went back the next day to drink in more.

There is a romantic interest in this book that was especially fun to gather background for by my husband and I. At one point, Jillian stays at The Lucerne Hotel which has a cozy French restaurant called Nice Matin, located next door. The cafe has a private entrance leading from the hotel.

In addition to romantic meals at Nice Matin, Jillian enjoys the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, especially the Nativity Scene, and watching the ice skaters in Central Park, just a few sites she experiences in New York City.

Museums Can Be Murder

The Christmas holidays get a morbid start when Jillian Bradley's niece Kaitlin Romero discovers the body of her boss at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. An envelope containing rare Charles Dickens illustrations is missing, and Detective Mickey Wells must reluctantly rely on Jillian's help to solve the crime.

The case goes international when the vendor of the illustrations is murdered and linked to possible fraud. As always, Jillian's Yorkie companion Teddy helps solve the case by discovering an important clue. Afternoon tea included!

Available on Smashwords and Amazon
Including The Jillian Bradley Short Story Collection, there is a total of 17 stories, all in sequence of events and mysteries in the life of Jillian Bradley. Her Little Yorkie companion Teddy appears in every story, helping to find important clues to solve the mystery. You'll want to read them all to learn about Jillian Bradley's life.

I hope you enjoy the book.

Cheers!

Holiday Gift Guide for Cozy Mystery Lovers

Hello, dear readers!

I hope this holiday season finds you and your family well and safe. In these turbulent times, I'm reminded that we must treasure each day God gives us.  As we press on, Thanksgiving seems to be officially blended in with Christmas as more and more people choose to decorate early, including myself. With traveling more to grown children's homes for the holidays, I find myself compelled to decorate earlier every year when the holidays get closer. Now, instead of decorating the day after Thanksgiving, we will be having our tree-trimming party the weekend before. Anyone else experiencing this change of events?

The next thing to start thinking about is gifts and what to give. I find parents are the most challenge. My mom doesn't need a thing, but she does love to read. Books bring a different world to readers and provide great entertainment for hours. I count a new book as a definite treat!

If you'd like to give a friend or a loved one a gift that keeps on giving, the Jillian Bradley mysteries might be a good choice. Rated G with no profanity or offensive scenes, they are the perfect gift choice for readers on your list. Books range in price from $7.99 to $11.99 for paperbacks and FREE to $3.99 for eBooks. Not bad when you consider one can purchase the entire series for under $99.00 + tx and s/h. (Amazon Prime members enjoy free s/h!)

Besides the 10 book series, there are short stories about Jillian and Teddy included in the holiday anthologies "A Cup of Cozy" series, and the latest one out "Happy Homicides." The "Cup of Cozy" anthologies include recipes and menus, and recipes and crafts abound in the bonus issue of "Happy Homicides."

Here is a complete list of books and buy links:

Whatever gifts we give and receive, may we be reminded of the greatest gift of all - Jesus, God's only begotten Son.

Happy Holidays!

By Nancy Jill Thames

Are you ready for the holidays?
Thanksgiving dinner menus made? How about your Christmas gift list? So far I know what I'm making for Thanksgiving, and gifts for loved ones will either be cold, hard cash or Omaha Steaks goodies. Oh, and to ready for the holidays, I need to have ordered fruitcakes from Collin Street Bakery for my mom and me.

Perhaps you're wondering what those little teddy bears sitting on chocolate covered cookies have to do with this post. It's simple, really. The recipe for these easy holiday treats is included in our new holiday anthology, "A CUP OF COZY."

The book is our free gift to our readers here on COZY MYSTERY MAGAZINE, and includes brand new titles like, "A Cup of Christmas Tea" by Linda P. Kozar, "Hardy's Christmas Triumph" by S. Dionne Moore, and "The Christmas Candy Mystery" by C.L. Ragsdale.

There are sneak peeks at some mysteries from our COZY MYSTERY MAGAZINE authors including new titles by Linda P. Kozar - "That Wasn't Chicken," Deborah Malone's - "Terror on Tybee Island" and C.L. Ragsdale's new book - "Chasing Lady Midnight." All great stories for your reading pleasure.

For the Love of ...

What do you love? One man loved a myth, that a ruby held in his position would bring power and wealth and soon bring an end to all his financial troubles. I wonder why for generations some people believe that a stone like this ruby has such a power. The only proven power I know is God's ability to create the universe and rule the heavens. God also has the power to change our lives if we let Him.

In my latest book "The Ruby of Siam" Jillian uncovers the mystery of what made one man lose his life and another man risk his job to help him. A love story, "The Ruby of Siam" begs the question, 'How far would a man go to possess an object he believed would change his future forever?'

Enjoy your weekend, dear readers.
